Support Ukraine

In response to the current situation, the Equaversity Foundation has launched an emergency fund from which all funds will be distributed to our LGBT+ partners in Poland that help the Ukrainian community.

Thanks to our latest donation, Lambda Warsaw established a refugee help centre for the LGBTQIAP + community, which has been open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the last 35 days. The centre’s personnel pick up refugees from train stations, give them food and a place to stay, and now, thanks to our donation, a chat with a psychologist (in Ukrainian).  They also assist in the search for a rental property and give legal assistance. They just rented a 160-square-meter flat in Warsaw’s Ursynów neighbourhood to make more space for those in need. They have also established a hotline (in Ukrainian and Russian) and provide polish language classes to individuals who are interested.
